Embark on a journey filled with unforgettable experiences, immersing yourself in the ancient traditions of the Lake of the Incas’ island populations.
The tour commences at approximately 5:45 a.m., with our guide picking you up from your hotel and transferring you to the Puno port. From there, you’ll board a boat bound for Amantani Island. Upon arrival, a walk to Apu Coanos leads to Pachatata’s ceremonial center, showcasing remnants from the Inca Age dedicated to Andean ancestral ceremonies.
The journey then proceeds to Taquile Island, where a typical lunch awaits at a local restaurant. Explore the craft market to admire exquisite handwoven textiles made by local artisans. Optionally, purchase souvenirs adorned with symbolic designs.
A brief visit to the Floating Islands of Uros follows, exploring two islands—an intimate family island offering insights into Uros lifestyle and the main island for basic services or obtaining a souvenir stamp for your passport. Opt for a totora raft ride (15 minutes, additional cost: S/. 10.00 – S/. 15.00 Soles).
As the day concludes, return to Puno by approximately 17:30 p.m., with our team awaiting you at the port for a transfer back to your hotel.
