Our Rainforest Expedition kicks off at 6:00 am, traversing the Andes from Cusco in a private minivan. En route, we explore the Ninamarca Archaeological Site and the picturesque Paucartambo Village. Entering Manu National Park, we delve into the Cloud Forest, encountering diverse flora and fauna. Highlights include the Peruvian National Bird, cock of the rock, and the majestic Amazonian Umbrella bird. The day concludes in Pilcopata Village.

Wake up to the melodies of Amazonian birds, continuing our journey to Atalaya port by van. En route, visit Coca Plantations and enjoy breathtaking views of the Lowland Rainforest. Navigate down the Madre de Dios River, exploring Machuhuasi Oxbow Lake, witnessing the Hoatzin bird and other wildlife. Venture into the rainforest, learning about medicinal plants and observing birds and jungle mammals. The day concludes at Manu Rainforest Lodge.

An early boat ride takes us to the Parrots Clay Lick, where hundreds of parakeets and small Macaws feed on mineral salts. Further exploration along the Madre de Dios River reveals diverse bird and mammal species. Visit Shintuya hot springs and engage with the Shipitiary Native Community. Explore the flooded forest along Manu River, spotting giant otters, caimans, and various wildlife during a Night Walk.

Enter the deep Amazon Lowland Forest, exploring the Terra Firme Forest with its towering Ceiba Trees. Spend the day in the Primary Forest, encountering diverse wildlife, including macaws, toucans, and the elusive jaguar. Enjoy Jungle Clay Therapy and a swim in the Manu National Park River. Conclude the day with a visit to the Tapirs Clay Lick, where you may observe tapirs in their natural habitat.

Embark on a river skiff journey in the morning, accompanied by birdwatching. En route to Atalaya, catch glimpses of capybaras along the river banks. Transfer to a minivan, passing through the cloud forest and stopping for lunch. Reach Cusco by approximately 6:00 pm, concluding this unforgettable adventure.
